Windows 11 Installation & Activation

Follow this guide to install and activate Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro using your product key.

Your installed Windows edition must match the license you purchased. A Windows 11 Pro key should be used with Windows 11 Pro, and a Windows 11 Home key with Windows 11 Home.

Check Your Windows Edition

Before entering your product key, verify which edition of Windows is installed.

Check whether your device is running Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro.

Open Activation Settings

Open the Windows Start menu and select Settings.

Then navigate to:

This page displays your current Windows edition and activation status.

Enter Your Product Key

On the Activation page, locate Change product key and click Change.

Enter the 25-character product key provided with your Keys4All order.

Double-check the key and click Next.

Activate Windows Online

Make sure your computer is connected to the internet.

After Windows accepts your product key, continue with the activation process. Windows will connect to Microsoft's activation service.

Verify Your Activation

Return to:

Check the Activation state. If Windows reports that it is activated, your activation is complete.

Having Trouble?

Product key doesn't work

Check that the product key was entered correctly and that your installed Windows edition matches the license you purchased.

Windows is already using another key

Go to Settings → System → Activation → Change product key and enter the new product key.
