Office 365 – Account Setup & Installation Guide

Follow the steps below to sign in to your Office 365 account, change your password, download Office, and complete installation.

⚠️ Important — Change Your Password on First Login For account security, change the temporary password immediately after your first successful login.
STEP 1

Open the Official Office Portal

Use the official Microsoft Office website below to access your account.

Please use this website for the first login and installation process.

STEP 2

Sign In Using Your Account Details

Enter the Office 365 account email and temporary password provided with your order.

Make sure the login information is entered exactly as provided.

STEP 3

Change Your Password

After signing in successfully, change the temporary password to your own secure password.

Save your new password in a secure place, as you will need it for future sign-ins.

STEP 4

Download Office

After logging in, you will see the available Office products in your account.

Click Install Office apps.

If you need a different language, 64-bit version, or additional installation options, select the advanced installation option.

STEP 5

Run the Office Installer

Once the installer has downloaded, open it and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.

Keep your internet connection active while Office is installing.

STEP 6

Wait for Automatic Activation

When the installation process is complete, Office should activate automatically using the account associated with your installation.

There is no separate product key required for this account.

⚠️ Important Note About Existing Office Installations Do not try to activate an unrelated Office version that was already installed on your computer. The existing version may be different from the version available through your Office 365 account. For best results, download and install Office directly from the official Office portal using the account provided with your order.
✅ Setup Complete
Your Office applications should now be installed and activated. You can open Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the other included applications.

Having Trouble?

Cannot sign in

Check that the account email and password were copied correctly and that there are no extra spaces.

Office asks for a product key

This product uses an Office account rather than a separate product key. Install Office directly from the official Office portal after signing in.

Your existing Office installation is not activating

Your currently installed Office version may be different from the version associated with your account. Download and install Office directly from your account portal.

Installation does not start

Download the installer again from your Office account and make sure your device has enough storage space and an active internet connection.
